Tastes of the Archipelagos

We’re excited to invite you to “Tastes of the Archipelagos” this January—an unforgettable evening that brings together the rich culinary traditions of Java and the embodied practice of Moving Rasa. This unique collaboration with Shandra Woworuntu, a renowned chef and cultural advocate, combines food storytelling with movement explorations that deepen our discernment of Rasa.

In Indonesian, Rasa means taste, but it also represents the essence of how we experience relationships—with food, people, and our own bodies. At Moving Rasa, we create playful, embodied spaces to explore how we receive and relish in experiences, using movement games and improvisation to cultivate presence, boundary-making, and connection. We hope to use Moving Rasa to deepen participant experiences of the food tasting.

We’d love to invite you to attend or partner with us to share this special event with your audience. It’s a perfect opportunity to explore the interplay of taste and movement while savoring Southeast Asian traditions in an intimate, welcoming setting.

.Please register for January’s “Tastes of the Archipelago” dining and community building experience. We will confirm receipt of your registration within 2-3 business days based on the contact information you provide.
