Theme
This month’s theme is doorways, thresholds, and ideas around passing from one era to another.

We experience ourselves in multiple relationships throughout the day, not just with people, but with everything from objects and places to abstract ideas and wild imaginations in our mind. We are part of a great interconnected web.

What is a Lab?  

In the Moving Rasa Relationship Labs we play with cultivating agency and empowerment in our relationships.  In this way, jumping over walls or wheeling through obstacles is just as relevant to my growth and life inquiry as where I put my attention for the perception of bodily sensations or the blossoming of my imagination. Any awareness of a movement relationship can be a portal to connect to our emerging Rasa - our essence.

Collective

Moving Rasa Labs are not held by one person. They are collective spaces for shared wisdom building. Together we build the improvisational designs, we play shared games and we ask the questions that guide our exploration. Those who are new with no experience will be folded in. 

Heartfelt exchange

We ask that you find ways to honor the collective space by contributing your energy back in some desirable way. It might be through a financial donation to the person who shared their knowledge, the bringing of cultural snacks or food for the group, or time doing marketing to outreach to future members of the collective. Space will be made within the Labs to brainstorm about this.  You do not have to have any experience in Moving Rasa to attend. Those with experience will support those with less experience. 

NYC Relationship Labs will be curated to be an anti-racist space that is 2/3 BIPOC majority. Thus, if you are a white person hoping to attend, please include an easy way to contact you so we may confirm that there is space 24 hours prior.
