Moving Rasa believes in the power of partnership to create meaningful change. One of our most impactful collaborations has been with the Guam Coalition, where we facilitated a transformative three-day workshop for service providers working with Chamorro (Indigenous) survivors of sexual abuse. The workshop brought together a diverse group of participants, including social workers, interpreters, youth workers, and members of the Guam Police Department. Each participant played a crucial role in supporting survivors and fostering a compassionate, safe community.

Our work focused on helping participants reconnect with movement in their bodies and cultivate the ability to notice and interpret movement expressions in others. Through collective inquiry and practice, they explored how movement awareness can deepen their capacity to hold space and time for survivors as they navigate their healing journeys.

This partnership was more than a training—it was a shared experience of growth and discovery, rooted in cultural understanding and a commitment to holistic support. We are grateful to the Guam Coalition for inviting us to be part of this vital work and for the opportunity to engage with such a dedicated group of service providers.

Together, we are building bridges of healing and empowerment, honoring the resilience of survivors and the strength of the Chamorro community.
